The Beauty of Asymmetry
The Beauty of Asymmetry
A new abstract that I’ve been working on for a while.
I have quite a few pieces being developed all at the same time and this piece has gradually become more and more simplified until it has been distilled down into completion.
I work digitally to create these abstracts using tools that are usually employed in the editing of photographs.
I want them to be visual enhancements, decorative, surprising and beautiful. It’s important to me, however, to include these characteristics whilst also trying to get closer to what pure digital abstraction is. This is not-painting. So what does and can that look like.
They are produced as high quality Giclee prints on Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper.
The artworks are printed onto 841 x 594 mm paper, the standard size for an A1 frame. The actual printed image size is 781 x 554mm leaving a white border around the edges.
Each print has my hand written signature, title and edition number and the print arrives, unframed, hand rolled and protected in a sturdy cardboard postal tube.
If you’d like a different size, or have any other inquiries do get in touch.
thanks
Michael.
